Known + unknown problems

Unknown / unveryfied issues / problems
If you think your tool doesnt work properly any more, we suggest to first check all
the cabeling, especially the eSATApd cables and the Ethernet cable to/from computer.
Turn off the computer, turn off the Atola unit, wait a little bit and then restart both.
If this doesnt help, install the Atola software to another computer or laptop and try
    the Atola tool with it.
If this new system works properly, then you need to check your first computer
for the usual issues (Windows configuration, Anti Virus software, HDD, viruses, etc.)
    Please note:
We had to learn that some anti virus software (after its updating) unexpectadly
reports a virus when you start the Atola software, allthough it worked (coexisted)
perfectly before the update....  In such a case try to include the Atola software into
the exception list of the anti virus software - or turn it off or use a different one.

    Known issues:
Disconnect all USB devices from the Atola unit before you turn it on !
Otherwise it might be, that the software cant connect to the Atola unit. If that is
the case, disconnect all USB devices, turn the Atola unit and the PC off and restart
them both. Wait a short while to let the OS on both units establish and then start the
Insight software - it should work now. When the Atola unit works properly, you
can connect the USB devices again for the needed operation.

    Solution:
Dont start the Atola tool with a USB device connected to any of the USB ports.

If the tool cannot detect / show hdd status but hdd works on an other tool
Disconnect all SATA cables, use new ones, power off the Atola unit and the pc
and restart them again. Install the software to a different (other) pc and check
whether this works. If the this issue still remains, try the following advices.

If the tool cannot connect to the database / has no connection
Power off the Atola unit and the pc.
power them on again, check connection
Check the lan cable + ethernet adapter + IP address setting (see 1st time installation)
Check the Atola system with a different hdd connected

Special SSD to SATA adapters (like M.2 NGFF, mSATA, Zenbook etc.)
Some adapters are not 100% compatible
     - this can be either an issue of the adapter (chipset *) )
     - or it depends on the SSD (manufacturer or controller)
     - or the internal OS *) of the Atola tool does not support this adapter
*) Try to bypass/test such an adapter with the SSD on a target port
If it is accessible on a target port you can at least copy files and folders
