Setup / fine tuning of the 10GB Ethernet Extension Module

Atolas Insight 10Gbit Ethernet extension module allows imaging drives to a local network at top speeds
as well as performing file recovery, compare, write from file etc.

However, a few minor adjustments need to be made for best performance - the following explanations
require a 10GbE PC LAN adapter on your workstation:

• Update the 10GbE driver on the PC workstation to the latest version
• Use a Cat6 ethernet cable to Link the 10GbE Ethernet extension module to the workstation
  
• Open the Windows Network and Sharing Center
• Click on  Change adapter settings  link
• Locate the 10GbE Ethernet card and open its Properties by clicking on it with the right mouse button
• Click on Configure button
• Select Advanced tab
• Change Jumbo Packet value to 9014

Please be aware, that the PC motherboard quality can have an impact on the resulting network performance
and ensure that the PC drive is able to read/write at speeds above 300 MB/s.
